Hi guys , please don't go hard on me , I just want to find a episode , after that you can delete the thread if it bothers you.

So I watched this episode in the end of the 90's.
The captain got to go trough corridor full with red lasers , outside there was dead bodies , and something like a button.
After or before that he talked with man , who was half machine , in big robotic sphere.
The man expected the captain to be the one who will inherit him , because he was controlling the machine , in which they were for too long.

Except the captain is male so it obviously can't be Voyager.

This episode hasn't been produced yet. It's part of the upcoming series. You're thinking the 2090's.

That does not call to mind any episode of Trek that I remember from the 90s, though I must admit that I missed some of DS9 and VOY when they were on the air.

I do not think that scene you remember is from any Star Trek series- I would have remembered something like that.
(It does not sound like anything from Babylon 5 either)

The first scene look like very old place (centuries of abandonment)
The second is in giant room , where the walls are parts of machine.
The only sci - fi running at that time on the tv was Star Trek (I'm from europe)

I'm sort of thinking of Space 1999 for some reason, but I can't quite place an episode, though it sounds more like Season 2.
Perhaps it's a European SF series. Where were you living at the time?

The pictures actually help.

The second scene is clearly a man floating inside a metallic geodesic sphere. He's in some kind of body suit.

I'm thinking it's not Star Trek. Trek may have been the only series in production at the time you saw this, but it may not have been the only scifi to be shown on TV in Europe at the time. Some older show or maybe even a movie.

And it might be some other scifi you forgot was on TV, like Earth Finial Conflict, Lifeforce, Lawnmower Man, etc...
