Episode where O'Neill gates to an ice planet?

hey guys, does anyone remember which episode this was? i remember him getting to an ice planet and there is a really old Apophis' Jaffa helmet laying in the ice.

i'm re-watching the episode and just saw a bit of armor in the ice.

for some reason i remember a serpent guard metal head sticking out of the ice? don't they use a part of the jaffa's staff weapon for energy to power the DHD? or am i thinking about something else?

Well, it wasn't a DHD, but O'Neill did use the power source of Teal'c's staff weapon to power his proto-ZPM. That's the closest thing I can think of to what you described.

I think he is thinking of Solitudes as well.... while they don't power the DHD with anything, there is a serpent guard frozen in the ice.

i re-watched the episode and only saw the chest part of the armor, but not the head sticking out of the ice?

The only other episode I can think of would be Season 6's Frozen, where they go to the Antarctica. I can't remember whether or not they find any Jaffa in the ice (I'm leaning towards no), but that's really the only other possible episode I can think of.
