Episode Eight Pre-Release Thread

I'll probably get the Lego version.

I don't like the hatch on top though, feels slapped on.
It doesn't fit the rest of the angular design.

Everything else I love.

Oh, everything I saw called him a new character, including the official Star Wars websites.

A new series of possibly leaked pictures of the TLJ characters has popped up, including our possible first clear look at Snoke, and his Praetorean Guard. They came from a Twitter feed called "Star Wars Stuff", so there is a chance it isn't legit, but the pictures definitely look legit, and they all seem to line up pretty with the stuff we've already seen.
It looks like Snoke was in quite a battle or something. I am curious to see if/when we'll learn exactly what his backstory is. Some of the companion stuff for TFA either said, or at least implied, that he's been around since before Palpatine and the Empire.

Making Star Wars, a blog that covers leaks, described those characters (and made sketches) almost exactly as those photos show them over the last couple months.

I guess they have a source inside on the inside.

Save the pics on the above link now, Disney has had several sites already take them down. They are legit.

Man, I can't believe I'm about to say this, but... somehow, looking at that picture of Snoke, a dark corner of my mind is whispering in shock:

"Tarkin..."

Looks like leaked pictures from promotional photo shoot. Someone's got some 'splaining to do ....

Tarkin and Valorum are not 8' tall aliens; Snoke, however, is.
Have we seen that he is that tall? The only full body picture I remember seeing of him with other people was the LEGO set, and I think he was the same size as everyone else there.
If you're just going by the hologram from TFA, that doesn't mean anything for sure, we've seen holograms that were both much bigger and much smaller than the person sending the message.

Unless I'm mistaken, it was confirmed by, I believe, Making Star Wars, that that hologram was a largely accurate representation of Snoke's general physical appearance.

Tarkin was never a force user. What he is is a rapidly expanding cloud of atoms currently orbiting Yavin...
