:techman:

I'm wondering if we are finally going to see another all-out space battle, the likes of which we haven't seen since the "Battle of the Binary Stars"?

Perhaps this is when the ENTERPRISE finally shows up to help the DISCOVERY?
I can see that being another cliff-hanger, all those S-31 ships are about to blow the Discovery to bits and the Enterprise shows up at the last minute.

Definitely a D7 and Boreth looks gorgeous like it's straight out of LOTR or something.

Also looks like the Section 31 ships have turned on their crew and are controlled by uh... control

I’m thinking the Enterprise might show up in this episode as well, to save the day at the end.

So in TOS, the D7 is only about the size of the DSC Bird of Prey. The other DSC Klingon ships are gigantic compared to it. So I’m going to assume that this new DSC D7 is similarly upscaled to gigantic proportions.

Oh, and at least it’s not green. I’m sick of seeing green Klingon ships.

Using what canon lengths?

To tell you the truth, after two lackluster episodes, I'm looking forward to this. Largely because the whole trip to Boreth doesn't appear to be required by the arc per se, meaning we'll at least get an A or B plot which is semi self-contained. This season Discovery has been pretty good with the episodic elements of the season - it's the greater arc which has been more tortured at times.

Well, this is once again Klingon arc, Religious arc, Signal arc and Section 31 got the invitation too. please, writers, just please, don´t screw this up!

klingons..yay.

well if this means we are stepping away from the red angel story line. the show can get back to quite good again since the focused red angel episodes have been quite awful.

Well, it´s still about the signals...

It's a hell of a lot closer to the camera in that shot, but you're probably right.

"The future is not written yet" - well they tried to in Season 1 to much revolt. Season 2 is ALL about making sure the future comes as written.

Also, this trailer heavily implies that Control not only has taken over Leland's ship, but all or almost all Section 31 ships, and then spaced the bodies.

I am going to hazard a guess this is Kurtzman's explanation for why Section 31 goes underground by the 24th century. The organization is so decimated/subverted by Control it's utterly discredited, and morphs into a very small secret cabal. Or else Discovery fixes the timeline so Section 31 never "goes big" in the first place.
