Entertain me!

Oh, I don't envy you. When I got my three wisdom teeth pulled out, I had to go to the hospital to get it done, and a few days later, my mouth felt like it had razors inside as my bones came in to replace what was missing. Was annoying and hurt like a bitch. But otherwise, it wasn't as bad as what people made it out to be, and in fact I didn't take Advil unless I really felt like I needed it.

No. Nononono. No. You're wrong. You don't remember correctly. The pulling of the teeth was the worst, hardly any pain after. Sunshine and happiness on the following days. Rainbows and bunnies. Right? Right?!

Well, I was out like a light when they pulled them. It was like I did some time-travelling. One second I had them, the next I didn't.

Still, having the bone come in doesn't happen to everybody, but if it does and you feel something sharp in your mouth, and you're wondering what the heck is going on, it would be that. It's what I was told when I called them when I was wondering what was going on. I recommend being gentle with your tongue when that happens, unless you like the feel of razor blades on it. Other than that, there was no real other pain.

Oh, in terms of entertainment, here's my contribution:

I love this site: http://www.captchart.com/

where people submit their captcha art inspired by those ridiculous security phrases you get on some sites. Here's a good one:

Some are better than others of course. Your mileage may vary.

Sorry you got your wisdom teeth pulled. I hear that sucks, my sister had to have hers pulled.O' did I enjoy the silence. Me, I am lucky enough that my jaw is big enough to hold all 4 of my wisdom teeth.

There is the bad jokes thread, some are pretty funny if you want some entertainment.

So I discovered this great diet. You just extract two or more teeth (preferably on both sides of the mouth) and then watch in wonder how your favorite cookies only exist in "crunchy", yet not "pulp".
I'm indignant on behalf of us handicapped but the pounds just do fall off!

Which leads me to all of you and the clear duty of the BBS to entertain me until I fall asleep.

Read my blog (link in sig). I can't guarantee entertainment, but I can guarantee sleep.

Aww, for once you are belittling yourself unfairly (You're just always too modest!).
You once linked to four of your posts in a thread covering introverts. I read through those and kept right on. I like your writing style as well as the blending of philosophical questions with not only your apparently quite substantial general knowledge but also with some insights into your field. I'm just too lazy to voice my opinions!

But, as you can see, this has already entertained me. As in: past tense. Come on! Dance! Sing! Put it on youtube!

@ Owain Taggart

Luckily, I'm not in any pain today. No razor blades for me. Sorry to hear it has been that bad for you.

But I like your link.

@ Yeoman Randi

Heh, I've been making up ridiculous images in my head whenever I encountered some of these as well. Didn't know there's an entire site dedicated to this. :D

@ ExplorerAtHeart

I could go and google this to see whether this makes any sense. That would distract me for roughly 5.6 seconds. Not quite sure if it's entertaining, so I'll better not risk it.

@Australis

Some many webcomics! This really looks like it has potential; I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

@ KJbushway

It's actually not that bad. I have already been walking and talking again today, although it was neither fast nor much. Of course, in here I need to keep up this dramatic persona who suffered quite an ordeal. People need heroes, you know.
