Classic Enterprise is a Constitution class vessel, to the best of my recollection, there's no mention of nuEnterprise class in the movie.

Besides, as this version of the Enterprise will probably remain on the big screen only, chances of seeing another vessel of the same class in the future films are most likely close to zero.

Unless a future movie EXPLICITLY states that there is NO USS Constitution, or that the Enterprise is specifically NOT Constitution-class, then I'll go on assuming that there is a Constitution NCC-1700. Just as we always knew there was a USS Galaxy, even though it was never shown, and a USS Intrepid, even though it was never shown.

I would say not as it is the first ship (or the 2nd behind the class' namesake). It was the E's maiden voyage (in 2258?) which is 13 years after the E's maiden voyage in the prime U.

I just like order. And it wouldn't make sense to have the Enterprise be the only ship of the CONSTITUTION-class

The rest of the fleet I don't care about so much, but the Connie's at least should be kept relatively intact. Everything after that though, it's pretty fair game, as so much has changed already with Nero's temporal incursion.
