Enterprise!!!!!!

Hello all I am a newbie to this forum although I have been watching Star Trek in all its carnations for the last 30 years or so.
I have just finished collecting the entire series (Original through to Enterprise) on dvd and have been watching them one by one since some time last year.
I have to admit Voyager was a bit of a chore to get through but I am now part way through season 3 of Enterprise and although I had seen all the others on tv etc it is the first time I have watched Enterprise. I think it is just about the best Star Trek I have ever seen. It is simply superb! I have just watched the episode 'Impulse' and it had more genuine suspense and action than all seven seasons of Voyager! I cannot understand how they got the film Nemisis so wrong while they were making this series at the same time.
The acting, the tone and stories are spot on. I only wish they had continued on for seven seasons.
Hope I have not upset Voyager fans!

He didn't insult VOY fans as far as I can tell. It's not as if he came here proclaiming VOY as an insult to Trek fans, nor did he berate people for liking the show.

Believe me I have seen far far worse bullshit that would piss me off. I see it on a daily basis. This is pretty mild. The only people who would take that as an insult are in the VOY forum, where you can get warned for not liking Kes.

Many thanks to all those supporting me, and apologies to all those whom I may have offended, but let me set the record straight, I love ALL Star Trek, whatever series, including Voyager. I have just bought all seven seasons on dvd!
I am just saying that Enterprise seems finally to have broken the 'stuffyness' and air of self worship that seemed to have set in during Voyager.
But I re-iterate I love ALL Trek and I am watching another epsiode even as I write this (Twilight). Its great!!!

Welcome, Sonny... you are (for the most part) among friends. Be warned that many have their favorites and you will too.
As with any site, I have noticed (in my short time here) that the members are divided into clicks/groups/religious denominations... these are the groups:
First Church of The Original Series (TOS)
Reformed Church of The Next Generation (TNG)
Holy Diocese of St. Sisko (DS9)
Our Lady of Lost Voyager (VOY)
Temple Beth Enterprise (ENT)
and then there are a few faithless bums who just plain like Trek.
Most will tell you to choose or die... but, Sonny, don't be swayed. Choose for yourself... and beware of the Dark Side (by not telling ANYONE that you like Star Wars)!
