Some of you JJ fans keep saying it was a rumor, but I've yet to see anything to prove it. And no, the studio and Abrams declining to comment doesn't cut it.

Some points I've brought up before:

(a) Why would Abrams came back to direct Star Trek Into Darkness after having this issue?
(b) Why didn't other entertainment news outlets like Variety and The Hollywood Reporter report on this?
(c) Why couldn't The Wrap find a better source than a single, anonymous one?
(d) Am I really to believe that Abrams signed on to Star Trek without understanding the property's ownership? He strikes me as much more savvy than that.

So if you haven't seen anything that proves the rumor, then you have no basis for using the rumor as fact, then.

I "Liked" the Enterprise Netflix FB page a while back. I was sad to see it get canned as I thought it hit it's stride in Season 3. Would love to see the Romulan wars as well as the refit NX-01.
