I just saw this over at tvshowsondvd.com, but apparently for the last little while, Enterprise has only been available on Blu-Ray, with the 2005 DVD sets having been discontinued. Apparently this is just a reissue of the discontinued 2005 DVD's, with just different box art and packaging. It looks like the DVD's might come 2-to a slim-line DVD case inside the box, kind of like the Star Trek Alternate Realities DVD set.

I gave my DVD's to my daughter when I bought the complete series on Blu-ray. God, I think I paid more per season for those DVD's than I did for the complete series Blu-ray.

If I had the money, I'd trade up. Those 2004-2005 sets are really bulky. But saving on shelf space is just not a good enough reason to do that.

Just use the blue plastic sleeves and pack away the bulky exterior. That is what I did until I gave them to my daughter.

I wonder if this is why we haven't seen DS9 and Voyager on store shelves. CBS has had the DVD's in the out-of-print listings, and sites like Amazon are just using up old stock. I was just looking on Amazon.ca and for both DS9 and Voyager a number of sets are saying that Amazon only has single digits (less than 10) of each season, and some, like DS9's Season 2 are saying that they are Backordered.

Considering that, just on DVD, not Blu-Ray, TOS, TNG and now Enterprise are getting "New" packaging, I wonder if CBS is going to do up new packaging for DS9 and Voyager and relaunch both series to tie into Star Trek Discovery.

I only have S3 of ENT since its my favorite season of this show, but I'd get the complete set at that price. I'm glad I held off of buying more seasons.

I wonder if they will rerelease VOY and DS9 in these cheaper complete dvd sets as well...

Holy shit, CBS/Paramount is putting a whole Trek series under 60 bucks.

That is without a doubt, the most shocking thing I've seen this entire week, and that's a helluva high bar to clear!

My days of buying movies and shows on DVD are over, though I still hope to buy this, TNG, and the movies on blu ray at some point when I have the $.

Assume this is about Us/Region 1? All the series seem to be ok on UK DVD, though sometimes only in complete series boxes.

Here are the finalized shots of the individual sets and the Complete series pack. Somehow I think the artwork from Season 4 in the Complete release is going to become scarce. I can see CBS releasing the big Seasons 1-3 set on its own later, but then Season 4 will remain just part of the Complete series, with the alternate cover being on store shelves.

And this is for DVD only.

Not sure I see the logic in the complete series set. Seasons 1-3 in a binder and Season 4 in regular packaging? When I bought the complete series on Blu-ray, they were able to put all the discs in one binder.

The Blu-Rays of TOS and TNG have been $35-$55 at Amazon.uk, and the disc are region free. There have been some great deals on TOS, TNG, and ENT recently. DS9 and Voyager not so much.

If i could afford it, i would get the series in either blu ray or dvd. Thankfully I have Netflix (for now) when i want to reminiss.

I already have the individual season sets for blu-ray, which I got rather cheap a few years ago on a sale on a local online retailer. And if you live in Europe you can get the whole box set now from amazon.uk for 40 pounds.
