Enterprise is a better show than Discovery

Why are you saying the Russian word for corners again?

It's his way of saying he has no argument, but he still wants to say something any way, so he spouts out spammy gibberish.

Every time he makes a post like that, he's saying he has no case.

Shoot it in '90s style, set it immediately after TNG/DS9/VOY, come up with technobabble explanations for even the wonkiest stuff (people are forgetting how bad the technobabble got during late-TNG and VOY and what it was used to justify), make the cast 100% straight, and make Burnham either black or a woman but not both, have stories not go on for anything more than a two-or-three-parter, and then watch how their opinions of DSC would change. Most important: Rhys has to have an episode devoted to himself.

If it was set 100 years after Nemesis people would have easier time accepting it. I think understandably setting it in the TOS era with jarringly different visuals and ship designs than anything seen before in Star Trek, concepts like the spore drive and retconning Spock's backstory were always going to prove divisive.

Of course it is. And Discovery would've been a better show if they'd stayed as far away from TOS as possible. Or been a 32nd century show to begin with. Maybe this greenlit Starfleet Academy will be in the 32nd century?
