Enterprise D Virtual Tour

It's all speculation at this point, and probably the artist can't tell us what's going on. However, I'll point out that the fan films only get crowd funding for specific, identified things (like creating props, buying equipment, etc), whereas this was a general "Give me money to make this", without stating exactly how that money would be used - maybe that's the line that was crossed?

On the post I linked to earlier, he originally noted that he's seeking alternative means of funding the project. However, that comment has now been removed.

He's still on Twitter. I guess anyone interested in the project should follow it as it will no doubt provide the latest updates.
His last tweet, about a week old:

"Well, CBS took down my video from YouTube. I am trying to figure out where to go from here. Thanks for the support!"

I wouldn't get too discouraged. A project this sweet? It should be taken underground. Enjoyed/supported by those who would truly savor it. CBS may have taken down the video, but not the core idea.

One of the smallest, yet most interesting things for me to see was that little ramp between the bridge and the conference room. I remember reading something about it, but had never visualized it. And, I had assumed the bridge and conference room were on the same level.

The website's back up. Or rather, it's been up this whole time, but he got rid of the sample "stay tuned" page that his site was redirecting to.

So that's kind of a good sign. Maybe.

Yep. Looks like he's not allowed to take money for it, just to do it as a personal project, and it has to be treated as a "parody". He can't even advertise it outside of that site, due to licensing issues.

Okay, he can't take money for it, but he could take money for a fun to pay his monthly utilities and sewage. What he does with that money after that...

Or donations "just 'cause", for no particular project.

There must be a dozen ways to do this.

Bump, because it looks like this will continue. On 11/5 he posted that updates will be coming soon.
