Sweeping historical epics, period pieces... in this contest we plumb the depths of history! Show us your avatars of movies, television, and other media set in the past!
For the purposes of this contest, we'll pick an arbitrary date and say that the movie, show, etc., must be set prior to 1939. (Sorry, but WWII movies and television could be a contest category all on its own.) However, the movie or show does not have to be based on actual events (or be completely historically accurate if they are, because how often does that happen?
) And no SF&F this time around, please.
Standard avatar rules apply: your entry should be no larger than 150 x 150 pixels, or 140 KB if animated.
