ENTER TV/Media Av Contest: TRAGIC HEROES

This week's theme is Tragic Heroes. It can be a character who is deeply flawed, or tormented or someone who has lost much in his/her life.

Questions:

1. How much time for entries?

2. Can none film be counted, as long as it's a picture?

I posted the thread on Friday. I generally give people 4 days to enter and 3 days to vote.

It's TV/Media which as far as I know includes film, documentaries and print media. So, if it comes from one of those sources, I would say yeah you can use it. We just don't allow SF&F because that forum has its own contests.

He lost his father figure with the death of Henry Blake, lost his hero when Hawkeye yelled at him while he was layin' wounded in post op, and lost his Uncle Ed, 'causin' his hardship discharge from the Army, only to have to take a second job upon his return to Iowa.

^ That's OK, you have time (I've actually gone looking for sci fi entries and creating entries before realizing I can't use them).

Hmmm. I didn't realize how tough this was going to be.

In case people need ideas, as I've noted, entries can come from real life too... e.g.: Martin Luther King, Gandhi.
