It's time again for a new contest...

Episode:
Shore Leave

Captain Kirk orders shore leave for the Enterprise crew on a seemily unihabited planet in the Omicron Delta system. The landing parties begin to see strange sights, such as the White Rabbit, Don Juan, and a sword-wielding samurai.

TOS Theme:
Non-Federation aliens wearing Federation clothing in TOS.

Random Theme:
Music. The avatar is to depict a musical performance, musical instrument, music notation, or music recording or playback equipment, real or fictitious. However, depicting a musician is not allowed unless the musician is engaged in a musical performance. Media, fiction, nonfiction, and SF&F are allowed. Lip syncing and simulated musical instruments are allowed, but for the love of God no Milli Vanilli.


TrekBBS rules apply; The maximum size of your custom image is 140x140 pixels and 70kb.

This is (roughly) a bi-weekly contest so entries will be excepted from now till Wed April 27th (10 days), with the subsequent poll lasting 4 days.

OK since my theme is being made fun of, (maybe because I've stumped you), I just threw it out there thinking there might be something interesting, but apparently not, I can only think of Charlie X and perhaps the fake Kirk from 'What Are Little Girls Made Of?'


how about we change it to

"The Most Outrageous/Intersting/Unusual Alien Outfit"!

^ Well, you have to admit there weren't many aliens featured in TOS wearing Federation uniforms. Unless you went to TAS...

I also assumed you meant non-human aliens, as "non-Federation" wouldn't be wearing a Federation uniform, right?

Anyway, why don't we leave it as-is... people can put whatever alien they want in a TOS uniform and we'll just run with it. Sound good?

Dude! Do you have any idea how long I spent doin' google image searches tryin' to find a photoshop that would work for TOS?!?

Seems that the most popular uniform choice for photoshop is the FC/DS9 style!

Though I did find Spike (James Marsters) in a TOS style, but I didn't think vampires would count as alien...

I finally had to make that E.T. one myself, and I know it sucks, but, what can ya do?
