I thought Luke was pretty cute, too. But I was an adult when SW came out, so I couldn't use him (or Han).

Didn't start watching Star Trek til I was 15 or so, but the first time I laid eyes on you-know-who, hot DA-YUM! Can't remember any crushes from before then (and wasn't really a SF/F geek before high school. )

I am taking comfort that, so far, it seems Kimberly the Pink Ranger is one of the more recent actors being presented.

No, I always watch a show on it's merits in regards to writing, acting, plotting, belivability, etc.
