ENTER: SF&F Avatar Contest | Who should play Wonder Woman on NBC?

Aragorn

Fleet Admiral

David E. Kelley is making it, McG is directing the pilot, NBC is airing it, so which actress could/should play the title role?

Be somewhat realistic here. Angelina Jolie and Kate Beckinsale aren't going to be putting their movie careers on hold and taking a pay cut to do TV. But it's okay to use an actress already on a hit TV show who contractually couldn't take the part and probably wouldn't even want to anyway.

Alright, I've got my idea, who wants to animate it for me?

Saffron Burrows (Deep Blue Sea, Boston Legal & Law & Order: Criminal Intent)

Thanks, JiNX! Here's my entry saved to my own account -

Reasons why Saffron Burrows would be a good Wonder Woman -

She's British, so there's the exotic accent.

She's six feet tall, so Amazonian.

She's worked for David E Kelley before, on Boston Legal.

She's done other work in television, with regular roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and My Own Worst Enemy.

She's done genre work before, starrin' in Wing Commander and Deep Blue Sea.

Jack Bauer is right. Nadia Bjorlin would be my choice. Even though the movie was not all that hip, I thought she did an excellent job in 'Redline'.
