Was that a military rank, or where they just calling him that because he was captain of the Falcon? Anyway, he was definitely a captain.

For mine, maybe not the most well-known, but the American member of Dan Dare's team, and the only crack space pilot I can reacall who wears glasses, Captain Hank Hogan.

Yeah, that's too close. Its just a animated version of Kirk, even if it is a comedy. Kirk from Futurama would also not be allowed. Zapp, while a parody, is also his own character.
