I'm wondering how the heck an artificial human like Ash or Bishop counts but a Cyborg doesn't. they are both robots with living tissue.
The dictionary says an android is a robot (or automaton) in the form of a human being. Maybe the definition's different in the 24th century, but that's what it is in the 21st century.Data himself said he wasn't a robot, though.
