This contest is about mutants. It can be the more commonly known ones (like Marvel's X-Men), but the only criteria is that they have to have been identified as a mutant in whatever show/movie/comic/book/etc they were in. Not assumed to be a mutant, or incorrectly called/assumed to be one, but actually identified as one in the source material. Whether their mutation involves super powers, a body disfigured by radiation, etc, doesn't matter.

Um, it depends I guess? I don't quite get what you mean. Is it images of half a mutant in the middle of doing something (like, say, Nightcrawler teleporting)? That would be fine.
