So, others share my feeling.
I may have thought of it a bit late (at least later than the others), but as soon as I had it, it did give me a thrill the others didn't.
Maybe it is the idea of getting votes for an av of something as unpopular as Bond's invisible car.
Maybe it is the fact that as opposed to so many other people I like Die Another Day, and the fantastic elements like the invisible car didn't bother me, but actually were quite charming to me.
Maybe it is the picture itself as a beautiful example of making invisibility visible.
Or maybe it is the fact that I'm such a Bond nut and I can actually enter an SF/F contest with Bond ...
Well, whatever. I'm just thrilled about that one.

Sure, that works!
Call me picky, but i don't think the transporter counts. They are not turning invisible they are moving away in a beam. It would be like calling me invisible because I drive from one end of the parking lot to the other. The person looking at my starting point thinks I'm invisible, but he would be wrong.
i tend to agree.
I'm the literal-minded sort - if the upshot is someone or something is becoming invisible, the reason or mechanism is beside the point. I'll allow it.

...of course that means that someone being disintegrated by a phaser set to kill would also qualify but I made my bed, so I might as well sleep in it.
