Greeks getting ready for battle...
Is it weird that at first I misread that as "Geeks getting ready for battle"?
You know, Showdown, you missed a perfect opportunity to add "Good God, y'all!" to the thread title. It's all that runs through my head whenever I see this thread!
Now I'll be humming that song for hours.
I'm not actually sure what song you're referring to, but I get the concept... it seems I can no longer read the word "war" by itself like that without mentally tacking on "war never changes". (Sadly, the no scifi rule precluded a related avatar entry!)
This was a despotic government waring against its own people, regardless of scale, against people who wanted to speak out and were ultimately slaughtered, prisoned, driven off. I see at least one soldier (from the tank), vehicles, and of course the giant weapon sticking out each vehicle.
You don't know....*gasp!*
