I love that image but was that really a "war?" That was civil protest, quashed by an oppression regime. Brave, for certain, but not really a "war" as described by the OP.

This was a despotic government waring against its own people, regardless of scale, against people who wanted to speak out and were ultimately slaughtered, prisoned, driven off. I see at least one soldier (from the tank), vehicles, and of course the giant weapon sticking out each vehicle.

I'm not actually sure what song you're referring to, but I get the concept... it seems I can no longer read the word "war" by itself like that without mentally tacking on "war never changes". (Sadly, the no scifi rule precluded a related avatar entry! )
