Enter Misc Avatar Contest: Let It Snow!

Thanks to everyone who voted for my kitty sitting in the rain.

On to the next contest...

We've had snow here for several weeks now, and winter seems to have come early to lots of other places as well. So since snow will come whether we like it or not, why not just celebrate it with an avatar?

Rules:

1. Normal rules regarding size apply.

2. No images from TV/movies/comics. Pictures from newspapers/online news services are okay.

3. No images from science fiction or fantasy.

4. And since I like to add a challenge: No humans. Pictures must contain snow, and may contain animals and inanimate objects.

Entries may be posted until Wednesday evening (MST).

I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

I chose this one because that cat reminds me of my cat, who I am certain has never seen snow in his entire, fluffy life.

This is pretty much the same view as my last avatar, from the beach at Moswetuset looking out over Quincy Bay-- this time with snow and the flash on to catch the snowflakes. I think I took it about two years ago.

Ohh, I like this theme! The only hard part for me about "snow + no humans" was deciding which of the many images I have involving trains and snow would be best. Settled on this "lonely switch" image.
