Well, apparently, there's no point in keeping my original entry after all, so I'll go with this instead:

There aren't any restrictions as far as I'm concerned on whether two versions of the same game get posted. I knew going into this that there are many versions of Monopoly and Clue, for example. All I ask is that they be RL, physical game boards and not a computer version.Oh, why? because of me? I was planning on choosing something else, just didn't think of a good one yet.Well, apparently, there's no point in keeping my original entry after all, so I'll go with this instead:

Is that what the actual game board looks like?Almost all of my favorite board games have been posted already. I doubt this one will get many votes but going with HeroClix anyway.

The avatar has to include an actual game board. So to answer your question, it's the board itself. Pieces by themselves are not acceptable, but if they are on or beside the game board, that's okay.^The board is generally a piece of paper but the game itself is the pieces (you could even create your own board). I assumed that the contest was about the board or the game. If it is the board, I may sit this one out as I can't come up with anything that can even compare to what has already been posted. Wikipedia does consider it a board game and the characters are sold separately.
