Seriously, that sounds like a good idea. It's been a long time since I did one of the Enterprise avatar contests. So, I'll see if I find time. If not I'll post it on Wednesday, after I saw the new Star Trek.

So, about two hours ago, the admins of a RPG where I play Hoshi announced that for tomorrow, random sombreros will appear on people's heads. Obviously, this calls for my very first sombrero av.

But then it got me thinking that there's nothing happier than wearing a goofy hat and drinking tequila, right? So there's my entry.

BTW, if anyone knows where I can find some of the crazy sombrero avs that were going around a while back, can some tell me where to find them? Because I've been trying to explain it to people in the game and I need visual aids.

I've hardly stuck a toe in the Trek XI forum lately, because I'm trying to avoid spoilers. All those sombrero avs and screenshots I haven't seen... The Navy battleship Sombreroprise is a total scream.

If you want more examples, I threw all of my sombrero avatars in a photobucket album here. And I saved all the TrekBBS sombrero smilies I ran across here.
