ENTER: Doctor Who Avatar Contest: The Doctor?

This contest is for any unofficial/fake version of The Doctor. It could be from parodies, or even from episodes of the show. Now, i don't mean some random person on a show or comedy dressing as the Doctor, but someone playing an incarnation of The Doctor Who is not 1-12, the War Doctor or the Meta-Crisis Doctor.

It also has to be something actually released, by that I mean something from an actual tV show/special/movie/etc, and not from a fan production or something like that (although it obviously doesn't need to be an official BBC production, just not some youtube video or fan film).

Normal Avatar rules apply.

Rowan Atkinson as one version of The Doctor from Curse of Fatal Death

I am assuming this counts, unless you're working on the assumption that Cushing is just a version of the First Doctor. If so I'll do something else, but that will mean losing bonus Bernard Cribbins :)

I don't see anything in the rules that would disqualify this on the grounds of my definition of "fake doctor" ;):

But some people might not vote for it on principal!

I was going to mention it, because I thought of that story specifically and didn't count it as fitting the contest, but didn't think it would be brought up (and was having trouble describing it). I meant people who weren't pretending, but actually playing an incarnation. But, I would also take the guy from The Next Doctor FYI, because while he was pretending, in story he didn't know. But, yeah, I wouldn't count someone knowingly pretending to play The Doctor to count, I should have just mentioned it in the first post :alienblush: But, I don't know. I guess it should be allowed because I didn't bring it up, but its also kind of specifically not what I meant....oh, well. Keep it, it was my error for not clarifying.

Also, unrelated, I really don't think it will be brought up, but (after the Clara thing) just in case it is...the Doctor Donna doesn't count as a fake version of the Doctor

Yep, it counts. He's definitely playing a Doctor, who is not an official Doctor and he's no more Hartnell than any other Doctor was. He just played a guy called The Doctor in vaguely 1stish stories, I was specifically thinking about him when I made the contest ;)

How about The Valeyard?

I was thinking about him when I made the contest, and I'd take him, because he is specifically mentioned as coming from The Doctor, but not as a specific official incarnation and he's not an actual regeneration, but some evil part of it, so I'd say it qualifies him, barely.

Normally I wouldn't have picked Fake-Doctor-Clara either if it had been just one line, but they went a bit meta with it, with the whole teaser/credits fake-out up to her eyes in the credits.

Honestly, I loathed that episode so I don't even remember any fake out. FYI, my loathing the episode is not why I don't count the scene, it just didn't quite meet my criteria (and doesn't even after being told about a teaser/credits fake out). But, like I said, it was my fault for not clarifying, so we'll see how it does in the contest.

Kenneth Raymond Moore as The Doctor from the great fan film "Fire And Ice".

Dammit, how could I miss that.

Well, hope this works, then:

It's from the adult parody "The Doctor" (which has been officially released on DVD). I've been careful to edit out anything Google wouldn't like.

If it was some kind of product, its fine. Parodies/etc work, just not fan films. An "adult" parody, if it was released for sale by a company, is fine.

Youtube hat das video in einer entschäften version. :)

Edit: oh, I just noticed i posted in German. meant to say, Youtube has the video without the actual porn scene. :D

Cool.

How about this? Osgood in Day Of The Doctor wearing that white lab coat and that scarf like Tom Baker's Doctor.
