ENTER: Cowards TV/Media AV CONTEST

JiNX-01

Admiral
Admiral
The Fonz and I would like to thank you again for the votes!

Our next contest is Cowards, characters you just know won't come through in a crisis.

As usual, SciFi and Fantasy entries do NOT count.

Now I can only hope I can come up with an entry. :shifty:

ETA: Found one...

Charles Logan, 24 -- but he was only a coward in season four and the first half of season five... before he suddenly became a completely different character for the sake of a plot twist that was a complete contradiction (for both plot and character) of everything that came before it.

Or how about:

"Buster, thank God you're back! There's no shame in being a coward."
"A coward? I'm not a coward. Would a coward have THIS!"
"What the hell is that?"
"These are my awards, mother. From Army."

I had a great idea for this contest, but couldn't find or cap a suitable pic. Here's my second choice. If I somehow get a good shot of the first character I had in the meantime, I may change back to that. But here's the current entry:

Thanks. It wouldn't work in either photobucket or in the preview window here. It usually works in photobucket.

Here we go:

Wouldn't Scooby Doo count as scifi/fantasy, though?

They chased monsters & ghosts, and the dog talked...

Wouldn't M*A*S*H coun't as sci-fi and fantasy since it took place in an alternate universe where the Korean War lasted eleven years?:D

Remember, the "ghosts" in Scooby Doo always turned out to be a guy in a mask.

Plus the dogs aren't really talking anyway -- it's just that the gang is so stoned they think that Scooby and Scrappy talk. :p

We're not that strict around here. :p

IIRC, the monsters and ghosts always turned out to be criminals in costumes. As for the show itself, don't we treat cartoon series as distinguished from SF&F?

Any disputes on that?

Dude, harsh... :p

Not always...didn't they do that thing where it was a mix of an actual ghost & the guy in the mask? And don't forget, they crossed over with Batman!

I'm cool with it if JiNX is, its her contest to run.

I already ruled.

ETA: I'll be putting up the voting thread late Friday evening.
