Cool. My mother had a great, stone "Green Man face" in her garden for years. Whenever I showed it to friends, they looked at me like I was daft.

"Why do you keep calling it a Green Man, when he's gray?"

But did you have to take the one deity my town is named after? -it kinda ruins this little theme about my home town I'm running

Well, that guy has "heathen god of old" written in his definition, I believe, so yes, Cthulhu is welcome to the contest.
... Because that -is- Cthulhu... right?
