87.How many Trek lit books are there where the subject of the narrative is explicit in the title?
Ya b*stard, my OCD will force me to check, even if the number is made-up.

Does anyone know if the Romulan War will cover the entire war, or just be the first in a series? I would prefer a trilogy at least, or maybe one book that covers each year of the war.

Originally announced as a trilogy, I believe we are getting the whole war at once - in one huge, chunky, trade-sized PB.
^ Maybe, maybe not. The next New Frontier novel is also supposed to be coming out as a trade paperback. Apparently it's the new 'in' thing and all the cool publishing firms are doing it. (Also, something about a higher profit margin of trades, since bookstores charge you through the nose for all that needless blank space.)
Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Which probably says something about the sales of the ENT relaunch.![]()
But this link has an interview with Margaret Clark and specifically mentions a 3-book series on the Romulan War:

Mangels and Martin did a fantastic job with the first batch though; its dissapointing to hear that.
The Enterprise books sell very well, thank you.
What it says was that I wasn't vague enough, when talking to TrekMovie.

I made the decision to move the story to trade, since it is such an important story.
The Romulan War is not the entire war.
Margaret
My apologies. I was just curious as to why Mr. Martin was working this one (Romulan War) alone. I thought you guys were a fantastic team over the years and enjoyed much of your work.
Hope to see you writing in the Trek universe again. Hope that Mr. Martin is able to carry on the quality of the Enterprise re-launch without you.
but it's summer already! And I am in negotiations to write something that will be of interest to Trek fans, though not directly Trek. Expect an announcement this Spring.![]()
