^ I dunno, Kalen, whenever I see you around the board I get a mental image of an Allison Mack look-alike wearing a cowgirl minskirt outfit cracking a whip :o :p! Love that image!

Hey all, I'm another new face here ;)

I've loved ST for as long as I can remember (seeing as my mother took me to conventions in the stroller, this is unsurprising), but I've never really gotten into the online Trek fandom, though I've haunted this board once or twice.

About me? I'm a college student majoring in indecision. Along with Star Trek, I love animation in its many forms: Japanese anime (esp. sci-fi themed ones like the various Gundam series) , American series like Invader Zim 'n' Futurama, computer animated movies like Final Fantasy and Toy Story.... yep. I'm a sci-fi and animation fan ^_~

...umm... yeah. Hope to be seeing y'all on the boards :)

Greetings Everyone!

I live with my wife in Houston, Tx. (well a suburb thereof, actually) and we're both huge sci-fi fans (farscape, babylon 5 and of course Star Trek). I used to think ST:TNG was the best series but after watching ST:DSN9 from end-to-end on DVD I must accede to my wife's long-standing contention that in fact, DS9 is the best of the bunch.

We've been following Enterprise and while it's been a bit hit-and-miss there's no doubt this season's really looking up, the vulcan stuff they've been doing recently has been quite good (though I'm a bit perplexed as to why the Amok Time T'Pau spoke with a fairly heavy accent whereas the younger ST:ENT T'Pau has none).

Anyway, greetings to you all - looking forward to getting to know you ;-)

Damn, this Lounge welcome behaviour has gotta stop ;)!

I used to hate wearing the thing because it was a real bugger to have to keep adjusting and keep from wrinkling, but I actually miss it now :(

Hi all,

I'm Nerroth (well actually I'm Gary, but you get the idea!), I've been a fan of Trek in all its forms since my days growing up with TNG here in Ireland (I'm so glad I got to see the emergence of DS9 into the great show it became, with the steady escalation into the Dominion War and the setting of the standard one would dearly love to see when/if the Romulan Wars finally come under scrutiny on ENT!) and I still remember returning from a trip to Florida when I was fifteen watching a tape of Voyager for the first time, a few months before Sky started showing the series, as well as staring at lo-res grainy footage of Broken Bow when ENT first arrived on the scene...

Also, I've been a fan of the Star Fleet universe of the General War and the ISC Pacification, the fleshed-out Kzinti Hegemony and their feud with the Lyrans, the exploration of non-anthropoid races, such as the methane-breathing Hydrans and the crystalline - in this universe - Tholians, and this interest - in no small part to the Starfleet Command series of games, a unique mix of the two continuities - has stirred a new view of the heritage of TOS, as the progenitor of two long-lived and compelling universes.

Gary
