I never really got around to post here but I guess it's about time...

My real name is Efva, I'm 33 years old and I live in Sweden. Profession: garden designer.
I love all things Trek, vindaloo and reading books...

That's me folks! :D

Finally, Holland is catching up, yesterday was Simultude, so we´re actually gaining on you all who are waiting for season 4.

Maybe I can finally start talking with you and not be "outdated" :D

Who am I?

Neal, 23, Dutch, almsot graduated space engineer, and weirdo (just ask around, enough people to confirm this).

I haven't posted in this thread in a while, I think.

I'm 24. I live in Oklahoma, and work at a college library. I'm working on my BA in History/Museum studies.

I enjoy debate, joking around, Photoshop, and sometimes find time for HTML and CSS coding.

I've been a Trek fan since my parents introduced me to TOS reruns as a kid.

I'm new, as you can tell, still just an Ensign. But here's a brief synopsis of me.

I'm a (late) twenty-something of the female variety. I live in deepest darkest England, the kind of place that's too small to be on any maps.

I don't have a cool job but I've had lots of dull ones.

My friends call me 'the geek' and joke about my love of Sci-Fi, but I'm the first person they come to when they want to know about a movie or TV show.

I grew up with TOS (re-runs of course), Dr Who (Tom Baker scares me to this day), Blakes 7 et al. I have followed Trek through all it's incarnations, but my frustration with Voyager made me abandon it for a while, however Enterprise has slowly won me back.
And here I am ! I don't suppose I'll post too often, but who knows, either way I look forward to getting to know you all.

Ok, for fun.

I'm RedFenix, and the name is a play on X-Men character Jean Grey (dark Phoenix)...though just to clear things up, I've never read/written X-Men fanfic. Apparently there's a "Fenix" in that fandom too and I've had a few people ask, so...no. :)

I'm 21 and a senior at UC Riverside, history major/anthropology minor. My emphasis is on post-Roman Britain to about 1000 A.D. I just finished up an academic year abroad in the UK at Exeter University too (*waves to all the Brits*).

I've been a Trek fan for my entire existence. My dad brought me up on TOS reruns and introduced me to the wonder and glory of Spock, and I've seen all of TOS and TNG, and of course, Enterprise. T'Pol is my favorite character and my favorite episode is "Twilight."

Outside of Trek, I enjoy Irish stepdancing, kickboxing, yoga, jogging, writing, reading, counter-factual history, and being a geek.

Evening all. Been lurking for quite a while, thought I would get an actual sign on. There has been a couple of times I actually wanted to say something, so I guess now I can.

I probably won't be a heavy poster as I am fully aware of the addictive power of the bbs. I'm just here for the spoilers anyway. :p

Hi I'm Dermie (Mike), and I'm a 25 year old from London, Ontario, Canada.
I've been a big Trek fan for many years. I also enjoy Babylon 5, Buffy, Angel, 24, NYPD Blue and Will&Grace.

This is actually my first post at these forums, so I am looking forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome Dermie! I already said this in another place, because I didn't see this post. Have fun!

Hi,

I'm fairly new to the boards...lurked for a while before registering and starting to post. I'm female, over 35 (an understatement :)), and an engineer by education (although I no longer practice the profession).

My first exposure to Trek was TOS as a child -- I don't remember the date, but I loved the series and thought SPOCK was the coolest character ever! I saw much of TNG during it's first run but lost interest during the last few seasons. By the time DS9 came along, I wasn't watching much television, but I've seen some of its episodes in syndication and expect to have the DVDs someday. I tried watching VOY but never really got into the characters and have only seen a few episodes of that series.

When ENT came along, I was excited as always about the prospect of a new TREK series. However, by the end of S1, I was drifting away. During S3, I happened to catch North Star, and they reeled me back in for the season with Similitude. Season 4 looks very promising, and I'm hoping ENT can go to S5 and beyond....

*Ulva waves hello tothebridge*

Glad you're joining the happy congregation!

*waves back*

Thanks for the welcome. I enjoy reading your posts. (I tend to read more than post it seems.) At this rate, it will take me forever to get a promotion!
