My name is Robert. I'm 28, I'll be 29 in two months. I'm single, and have the misfortune of living in a Southern tourist trap, despite being raised mostly in the North.
I watched TOS and TNG growing up, but once The X-Files came on, that became my main vein. I've always been more partial to arc based storytelling and ongoing intrigue in my shows and books(yep, I still read comics) DS9 became my favorite Trek because it incorporated some of what I loved from XF, in addition to characters willing to step in the grey zone. You can probably guess who my favorite character is. I never really got into Voyager, though I did my fair share of drooling over Seven of Nine. I do like Enterprise(now that the sugaryness of s1 has been dropped), but I wish they'd mine the rich coterie of supporting players like DS9 did(Jeff Combs and John Fleck are two fine actors who have paid their dues on previous Trek series, give these men JOBS, Trek producers!) and I REALLY wish they'd drop that Rod Stewart song and replace it with the opening theme of First Contact.
Related to that last note, I like alot of Gothic music, especially with alot of piano flourishes. My favorite solo artist would probably be David Bowie, with my favorite bands being My Dying Bride, The Gathering, Type O Negative, and Nine Inch Nails.
I read alot, or at least I DID before I started working the second shift and threw my sleep schedule out of whack. My taste on the printed page is varied: ranging from Batman: The Long Halloween to The Picture Of Dorian Gray to The Collected Works of Robert Browning.
Long post, I hope that wasn't TMI(or NEI).
Remember to think outside the box.
