I'm Ted, 45 years old, and I started with TOS back in the 1960's when it was first on. I was a big Trek fan in the 70's, but by the 80's I was more into Doctor Who; Star Trek seemed played out, didn't have anything new then. Next Generation is what got me back into Star Trek, and I've been a fan of all the series since, including Voyager and Enterprise.

I'm also a big fan of Buffy and Angel, I like written science fiction, fantasy, and history, I play roleplaying games, and in the past few years I've become an anime fan.

Hi Everyone,

Im Rich. Im 35 and from New Jersey. I live about 20 minutes west from New York City. I am a software engineer for the Army.

I've been a Star Trek Fan for as long as I can rememeber. When I was a kid, my brothers (which are about 7-8 yrs older than me, used to watch TOS series in syndication. I used to watch it with them. I watched and watched and watched. Every episode became engraved in my brain. :)
Needless to say, I watched every movie, TNG, DS9, Vgr, & Ent. My partner of 6 yrs is a huge fan of TOS but never gave any of the other series a chance. We're in the process of buying the DVD box sets and watching them. It's a lot of fun to watch every episode again with him. For him it's like they are just coming out for the first time. We're done with TNG and are currently on season 5 of DS9. He loves everything he's seen.

If anyone is in the NJ/NY area and would like to chat, please drop me a message. Take care.

Rich

My name's David and i'm 21 and live in Glasgow, Scotland.
I've been a fan of Trek since i got a loan of 'Emissary' in '93. Hooked ever since. I love DS9, Voyager and Enterprise.

When i'm not at work or at college, i'm doing the job that Paramount fail to.. promoting Ent to my friends and anyone who'll listen! :)

Hi there. My name is Debbie and I am (gasp) forty-two. I've recently sold my house, bought another and I've been out of touch for a few months. It's great to be back

I'm a civil engineer by trade. Love to read, especially science fiction. I've been a Star Trek fan since TOS was in reruns and I used to run home from school to catch every episode. I had them memorized.

I'm half Irish, mostly conservative, very opinionated but tolerant of those who's opinions are very different from my own. I'm also gay, although it's not the predominate characteristic that defines me. I'm a daughter, a sister and an aunt. I'm an Air Force brat...lived five years in Iran, went to high school in Germany, graduated in Nebraska and live in Virginia.

I love a good debate and usually sail on the A/T'P ship. I think ENT has really improved from its first two seasons and really liked the last episode. I missed this board while I was moving around and am glad to be back.

I'm Kevin. I'm from Northern NJ, a half an hour from New York City. I come from a family with wonderful parents and sister that I cherish dearly. I'm 20, and studying Mathematics and Classical Studies. I'm considering entering the Air Force ROTC program to become an officer as I'm currently working towards my pilot's license, with the intention of one day becoming an astronaut or a commercial airline pilot. I've also begun training in Aikido a Japanese martial art. I love computers, programming on them, playing on them, etc. I love animals particularly dogs, and I currently have two Shelties (the 3rd pair that I've grown up with). I have an interest in world affairs, and politics, and I consider myself to be middle of the road. I enjoy helping others as much as I enjoy helping myself. If that makes any sense. :) I try to enjoy life, to be balenced, and do what I love.

edit: I love Star Trek. Been a fan ever since I was a young boy, when my parents who love TOS, showed me "A piece of the Action." I consider DS9 to be my favorite, with TOS close behind. I love all of the series, even if I thought that Voyager became pretty bland the last couple of seasons, and Enterprise has been only midly ok. I also love to read. Mostly Scifi(The Area 51 series being a favorite as well as the many Star Trek novels out there like the DS9 relaunch series). I also read nonfiction such as Physics, Astronomy, and Ancient and American History.

Hello everyone.

Been a Star Trek fan for since 9. I have seen every ep of TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY. Watched about 1.5 seasons of ENT

Hello all, I'm DrDoom3k and I've been watching Star Trek since at least I was 4 and my mom made me and the rest of the family sit down and watch TNG. I'm certain that's the point in my life where I went from normal to Geek :D . At any rate I'm a big Star Trek fan (obviously) and while I can't say that I'm particualrly found of Enterprise, I do like to drop in every once and a while and see what's happening.

hi I'm Matt just signed up from vancouver.... always watched the old next generation and now watching enterprise...

Hi everyone!

I’d been a Star Trek fan for… let’s see a long time. Watched TOS on reruns and TNG, I taped and watched over and over. I show my appreciations for the ST world by collecting action figures and trading cards.

I’m just beginning to learn how to post things on to forums and trying my best to catch up on reading threads!

Fun aside I`m onto martial arts (I`ve got the green belt in Taekwondo), reading (all kind of Fantasy, Liturature & Mangas) and trying to drive my teachers nuts

Well, that`s me

Hi! I joined the forum a few months ago but had to step back soon thereafter for technical reasons. Unfortunately, I wasn't here long enough to have made an impression, so I'll try to stick around long enough to make one now.

So far as I know, I'm the only rag451 on the Internet. Since I was assigned that monicker by my ISP some years ago, I've grown used to using it wherever I go online. My real name is Robert, though, and everyone is welcome to refer to me by it or whatever is easiest.

I'm not much of a fan of the Internet, but rather enjoy the TrekNation as a whole and find that since I spend so much time checking headlines, I might as well check out the rest of the site as well. I'm not online much these days at all, but I'll stop by here most days I check the TrekToday headlines.

Robert

Hi everyone !

I'm David, a 28 years old guy from France. I've been a long time fan of everything Trek, since the 80s when i watched TOS for the first time. I was still a kid but i've been fascinated by Star Trek as soon as i discovered it.

Then came TNG, on a satellite channel known to be very supportive of Trek in my country (Canal Jimmy). They showed us TOS in original form too, it changes everything. ;) DS9 was next, for me the best Trek show of all. I'm rewatching it on DVD now, just started the 6th season, it's still a blast even if i already saw the entire 7 seasons twice :D

I only saw the first 2 seasons of Voyager, before it went off the air in my country, but with the DVDs soon to be released, my curiousity will probably be fullfiled. I found what i saw to be entertaining so far, can't wait to see how it plays out, even if i've been "spoiled" to death (couldn't resist reading them, i kind of regret it).

And now, Enterprise is airing on that same satellite channel. We're in the middle of the first season, and so far i've had mixed feelings, mostly good but i'm a little disappointed with the way some characters seem to evolve... But still, i enjoy it and hope it won't get cancelled. Maybe i'll change my mind when i'll see the second season which seems to be worst than the first by judging on what is said in this BBS, but i like to make my own judgement anyways so we'll see...

I maybe a niner at heart, but i'm a trekker before all.

David

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Enterprise Forum!

We thought a who's who in the forum thread might be a fun way for us all to get to know each other a little better. If you're new, come in and tell us about yourself. If you've been around forever, please take a moment to share a few things about yourself.
So, that's me! Who's next? :D

Well I think this is what the POSTER PROFILES are for right? Well regardless, the basics on me are here:

There's a profile on yahoo too.

I've been on the TREKBBS as long as most, but post in spurts. I've been a Trek fan since TOS reruns in the mid to late 70s.

Hooray, I was married 3 weeks ago!! :)

Hi, I'm new! Um, let's see. I've only been watching Enterprise regularly since Jan, since the cable co. in my town doesn't carry UPN, but my dorm does, which is really nice. So I've seen about half of season 3, and scattered episodes through the other two seasons (thank you, KaZaa). I've read enough fanfiction to make up for it, though. :)

So, there you go. :)

Hi, I'm Jer from parts unknown....I recently was married to a very beautiful American, and as such I'm waiting for some sort of work permit....(what was supposed to have taken 3 months has now been 2 years!) I've liked Trek since I saw TOS on reruns when I was very youmg, (I think the first one I saw was Shore leave) I like TOS a lot, it was fresh and fun, like SG1 the first 5 years. I love reading, a pastime I share with my wife, we collect books of all types. I like scifi authors like Frank Herbert and Arthur C. Clarke, read philosophies from Nietzsche to C.S. Lewis, historically set novels from Bernard Cornwell to Patrick O'brian, and fantasy from Tolkien to Rowlings. Musically I like Sixpence, Iona, and especially the Beatles. Tv wise, I can't watch any trek because we seem to be in a dead spot station wise, so a lot I am forced to download and make VCD's of in order to watch, but shows I do watch on the occasion are SG1, Frasier and Andromeda (ya, I know....but it's more enjoyable than TBN and even less cheesy) Favourite movies are too widespread, from Braveheart and the Passion to the Muppets and 5th Element....I like all things Trek (except for most of the merchandising) I'm not some fanboy, though, there are some dislikes, but hey, I enjoy what I'm given, and wait for TPTB to think up something new. If they ever want me to think up something....then maybe.... :D

Well then, enough of me.

Hi Everone,
Im in the Netherlands in still 35 years young, that will change this month into 36:(

Im a Trek fan since the late 80thees. Im a big ENT fan, although we are a bit behind here. At the end of season 2. Season 3 will start in june here, but by then i have probably downloaded them all and put them on DVD ;)
I work with refugees, from all nationalities and ages, and have a small internet shop.

My name is Michael and I am 34 years old. I live in Texas with my wife and two sons (3 & 11). I am a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros (which is kind of weird considering I been asked by many people the last few years for my autograph since I look like Jeff Bagwell). I am about to finish a second Masters in Computer Eng (my first one is in Ed Admin). I work for a school district as the Director of an Engineering and Robotics program and I also teach Biology and Geology. I coach baseball on the side and love it.
I have been fortunate to have been selected to be in several competitive NASA programs and as a result of thatI do some educational training through them for school districts, business groups, etc. on the side. All of the people that know I am a Trek fan said that could see me doing something like that.
I completed an assistant-principal internship last fall (the principal is also a ST fan and called me "number one" on a few occasions but many coworkers and students just thought it was a navy thing between us).

I have been watching Trek since I was four. My uncles got me hooked on TOS. I love all of the various Trek series. I think each one brings a little something different to the table. I think ENT is excellent and really look forward to watching it. My favorite characters are Kirk, Riker, Trip, Paris, and Sisko. My favorite Trek novels are The Wounded Sky, Dark Mirror, A Rock and a Hard Place, Imzadi, and Yesterday's Enterprise.

Greetings.
I'm Mary. I'm 49 and have been a Star Trek fan since the '60s. I used to bug my (non-Trek) brothers by reciting the dialogue along with the actors during TOS reruns.
While I have a special place in my heart for TOS, I have watched all of the series (my least favorite is TNG).
I've loved science and science fiction since I was a kid (thanks, Patty, for putting me on to Asimov).
I grew up in Oswego, NY and now live outside Albany. I'm a newspaper copy editor.
I have a cat named Jinx (yes, she's named for the character in "Uhura's Song") and look forward to revisiting the beautiful southwestern U.S. soon.
