I'm 21 years old, and from England. I finished a degree in Archaeology & Anthropology last summer, and am currently temping in a large British bank. I'm Catholic, single and planning to stay that way, and a geek.

I love computers, Anglo-Saxon history, music (mostly film scores, these days), and reading. Mostly I read sci-fi and fantasy, though basically anything I can get my hands on will do. TV-wise, I'm a fairly major-league B5 fan, and it's the only show I like more than Enterprise.

Enterprise is the first Star Trek show I've really enjoyed; my younger brothers have been watching the various incarnations for a few years, and I used to borrow their Star Trek books, and eventually started watching occasionally. I love Ent, especially the character of Trip, and it's the only TV show I watch now.

Think that's about it... this is a great thread!

Name is USS Canadys, named after a starship built out of Lego.

30-ish, from NYC... love all things Trek. First saw STII in Southeast Asia, then caught the Original 79 upon returning to the States... been a Trekker ever since. :)

My name is Kat, I'm 15. I live in England - South Yorkshire, although most of my family is from Scotland and Durham.

I've watched most Trek series. I watched TOS as a kid, but can't remember most of it, only vague memories of Spock throwing a soup bowl out his quarters at Nurse Chapel. Watched TNG with my parents on Saturday tea times. Voyager on Sunday tea times. I'm currently watching my parents DS9 dvds, I'm on S2.

Enjoy Enterprise, although with my five channel television I'm only just getting S2.

I'm studying my GCSEs at the moment, and plan to go to Sixth Form, then University. Hopefully Oxford, though I doubt it. I would like to live in Scotland, or the Dales, and I'm addicted to Irn-Bru.

There. That is my life.

Well my name is Richard.
I live in a little village in County Durham, which is in the north east of England.
I'm 21 years old.
I love all things Star Trek, every series and every movie.

I love bike ridding, driving my car, skiing and scuba diving.
My other intrests are Lord of the Rings, Red Dwarf, The Simpsons, Science Fiction, British Comedies, computer games and much more.

Well, my first name is Lars (although I was born and raised here in Califonia, USA). I'm 40 (another old fart here); and live near Los Angeles, Califona, USA.

I've been watching Trek first run since age 6 (1969); and the first episode I saw was TOS - Elan of Troyus

I like Science Fiction in general, and have beena avid watcher/reader of it for most of my life. I also like Japanese Anime a lot, and have been a hardcore fan of that genre in all its various forms since 1985.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Enterprise Forum!

We thought a who's who in the forum thread might be a fun way for us all to get to know each other a little better. If you're new, come in and tell us about yourself. If you've been around forever, please take a moment to share a few things about yourself.
So, that's me! Who's next? :D

Well I think this is what the POSTER PROFILES are for right? Well regardless, the basics on me are here:

There's a profile on yahoo too.

I've been on the TREKBBS as long as most, but post in spurts. I've been a Trek fan since TOS reruns in the mid to late 70s.

RAMA

My real name is John. I'm 41. Formerly a web-developer for the Tarheel State. I've been involuntarily retired for the past 2 years.

I've been watching since TOS. I rank the various Trek series as:

DS9
TNG
TOS
ENT
TAS
VOY

I also like(d) Farscape, Firefly, the new BSG, as well as West Wing, JAG, 24, Smallville (thanks to the magic of VCRs), Frasier, and Joan of Arcadia.

Hey guys I'm new here. My name is Ronan, with a pen name of Dustin Cook, I love Enterprise.

TNG,
Voyager,
Enterprise
TOS,
DS9.

I hope to talk to you all more soon.

Hello. My real name is Catherine and I do freelance photographic scanning & restoration. I've worked in the photographic field in one way or another for about 15 years, and I'm currently stuck with living in Toronto (hey, it's where the jobs are) with my significant other and a fluffy feline. I started watching Star Trek with TNG (about 3rd season, after we finally got a TV) and have stayed with it ever since, and came here originally to discuss Enterprise with fellow fans but in recent times I have spent most of my time here on the SF/F boards.

Real name is George. Live in Washington DC. 24 years old. Graduated from college last May, have been working in my admissions office since 2001 as an "AdmissionsLackey" Still hunting for a real job in New York preferably.

I enjoy Trek, all of them, TNG and DS9 being my favorites for entertainment purposes but TOS being the best of all. Additionally, I watch lots of other shows and films because this is the field I want to break into. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, B5, 24, ER, West Wing, Alias, The Sopranos, Nip/Tuck, The Shield, Smallville, Friends, Scrubs, Frasier, CSI, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc. Big fan of LOTR and comics too. DC and Marvel.

I currently have 9 television series ideas I am working on, mostly only one is anywhere near being presentable and I hope to do that soon someday. I'm in love with a dear friend who moved away to Minnesota and while it looks like for now we are going to be stuck in that whole "lets be friends" phase I am more and more enjoying it like that. Still looking for that lucky Miss Right though.

Currently I am working on the sequel to my student film project to re-learn everything I;ve forgotten in the past couple of years in terms of filmmaking. (This is also why I LOVE reading T'Baio's posts and his movie reviews.)

I have several siblings - 2 brothers and a kid sister. Also have an incorrigible terrier mix (we call him a bastard) named Chewie who likes three things: Steak, Sleep, and Sex.
(Don't ask).

My parents met in California, where I hope to live someday myself. Dad is from Lebanon. He is the gentlest man on the planet and he is my best friend. Mom is from California and she and I get along well enough but have our issues.

Anyway, thats 005 in a nutshell. Thanks for listening...er I mean reading.

Hi,
First post here, seemed appropriate for some odd reason...
Well my screen name is ozFinn (I am Australia, but can't remember where the Finn part comes from as I'm not Finnish at all... perhaps I had a thing for Neil Finn?? Nah!)

Real name is Brendan (but I also answer to Robert, laowai, idiot, hey you or get the hell out've my way geek) I'm 20 years old, originally from just north of Sydney Australia.
Spent one year in Hungary as an AFS Exchange student.
I first got hooked on Star Trek when my Dad took me to see "Generations" at the movies, a decision he has no-doubt been regretting ever since!
My fave series has to be DS9, but I also like Enterprise as well, particularly the way season 3 is shaping up. Star Trek isn't broadcast here in China, so kazaa is my lifeline.
Outside of Star Trek on the box I like Family Guy, Futurama, Absolutely Fabulous, The Simpsons, and I could really go on for alot longer.
Film wise I like a whole lot, current faves are 11'09"01, The Hours, Daddy Day Care, I Spy, An American Rhapsody, Spy Game, The Pianist, La Vita E Bella (Life is Beautiful), No Man's Land, Chocolat, Bowling for Columbine, The Princess Diaries (Oh the shame of it), Stand by Me...
I think I'm rather a film nut (or should that be just nuts??)
I love to read more than most other things (except travelling) and am currently reading my way through the Harry Potter series for the umpteenth time (J.K Rowling is a genius and anyone who dismisses her work as 'for children' clearly just doesn't get it). Current other fave books include Stupid White Men, anything by Bill Bryson (hilarious travel writer), Choosers of the Slain, Stormdragon, Seafighter, Target Lock (all by James Cobb)...
As I said I'm originally from Australia, bt am living in middle-of-nowheres-ville China teaching Spoken English. China is a great place, a difficult place, but fascinating (I also LOVE Hong Kong). It's an interesting job, I'm not sure if it's something I'll want to be doing for the rest of my life, but it suits me for the moment. I've been here in China for 4 months now and am soon off on holidays to Beijing.
After my year here in China I might have a similar job in Austria to head off to, which will be great, will finally be able to learn to ski and will get to visit my good friends... well friend in Hungary again.

Ok well I think I've bored you all enough.
ciao!

Hi there..
I'm Dan (aka: Marillion).. I'm a public information officer (fancy way of saying PR hack!) with the New Mexico State Forestry Division.

I've been into Trek since I was little, but never REALLY got into it until college, where my roomate was a total Trekker.

When not out fighting fires (both political and literal), I'm into reading, rugby and playing with my kids (and wife too!). My other great love is music, especially the rock bands Marillion and Rush (the two greatest rock bands in history!)

Cheers from NM!! (and happy new year too!)

I'm Nicholas, a 19-year-old third year Law student from Victoria, Australia.

I haven't been here in ages, since we've only seen two seasons of Enterprise and I've enjoyed the show much more without spoilers.

My real name is Michael, and I'm a 19-year-old killing some time over winter break. Soon I'll return to Occidental College, a small liberal arts school at the northernmost tip of Los Angeles. I'm majoring in Comparitive Literature, minoring in Diplomacy and World Affairs and possibly double-minoring in Politics.

I discovered Trek in part because TNG was on one of the three channels I had while growing up, and in part because my aunt was a die-hard fan. A year after she passed away, I began watching the show more regularly, to the point where I taped every DS9 and TNG ep ever made. I haven't seen "Looking for par'Mach" yet, but I've seen every episode of TNG and DS9, and most of Voyager (not as much of the seventh season) and Enterprise. I've seen about 20 TOS eps, because I don't have cable and I don't have the money as a starving college student to pay for all of the 2-ep DVDs. However, I fully intend to buy the boxed sets when they arrive next year, and I will then finally watch the OS movies (I've held off on watching them until I see the series in its entirety - not because I'll miss plot developments, but so that I can fully understand the character dynamics at play). I was more of a Trek junkie when I was younger - I still own a ton of the novels, whose recent resurgence in the form of the DS9 Relaunch helps occupy some of my free time - but television in general has become less important to me as I've grown older and socialization grew far, far easier.

Favorite Trek series was DS9, followed by TNG - both of which will always have a place in my heart. Farscape is also excellent, B5 has its moments, and I'm hoping that someone decides to give me the SG-1 DVDs so I can finally see what all the ruckus is about - I saw the movie and the pilot, and was completely unimpressed, but it seems like a lot of people like the series and I'll give it a fair chance.

I run cross-country (badly - ankle injury helped contribute to an entire summer's loss of training, and I'm just about to start running again for track), write, read, listen to tons of music (alternative rock, acoustic stuff are my favorites, but I'll listen to a lot of stuff - Slipknot's where I draw the line as far as how angry the stuff I listen to is, and I can't listen to really whiny punk anymore... excepting most rap and country, I listen to almost everything else), and watch more movies than is good for me.
So, that's me. :)

Hello to all, I'm new to the BBS and from what I have seen so far this is a great place for ideas and exchange of info. :)My name is Karen,I'm 33 and I enjoy the Pacific NW (beautiful) where my better half and I reside for now. I am a PT Coord. for a Medical Imaging Company. I have watched Trek since the first season of TNG-I'm the only Trek lover in my household, but I consider it my own personal pleasure..every girl needs one ;)Unlike alot of poster's I liked Voy. But I can see why it may have not have fit in w/ the norm to most, but I like the new ideas and although it has taken me awhile to really feel uplifted about ENT, I think the Xindi arc is a good direction. SG-1 is a sci-fi series that I think is just as good, but I just can't see all the "spin-off" success as there has been with all things Trek. I am a movie collector, love reading and my Cats would tell you if they could, that I have been trained well as their slave... Well, glad this site is here, and look forward to chatting w/ you all.

Hi, i'm 20, am an American citizen, but am currently living in Israel. Have been a fan of "Star Trek" since being a little boy. I love all the TREK shows with VOY being my least favorite.....

I like watching ENT because it helps me forget about all the crap going on in this part of the world.... :)

Edit: I forgot to mention that ENT is barely on it's 2nd season here, and is being shown on one of the least watched channels on a crappy timeslot....5PM Friday night....(but I still manage to watch new eps..... ;))

Hey, all!
I answer to the name of Bob because that's what people insist on calling me.
I'm 48 yrs old, have 3 kids - 14, 13 and (Providence help me) 4.
I presently live in the wierd state of NJ where I spend too much time lurking on this BBS and waiting for Ptope to continue his alt Ent story...
I grew up watching Trek original runs in Brooklyn, NY and have been an avid fan thru most of the TOS movies.
I became a disapointed fan since the premier of TNG and have remained a disapointed fan thru every other incarnation of Trek. I keep watching with the forlorn hope that something good might be made of Trek before I die.
Which leads to my final self description:
I tend to delude myself with forlorn hopes...
:D
