Enemy Within Kirk double

Don Eitner doubled Kirk in "The Enemy Within." He also played the navigator in "Charlie X."

That particular green tunic of Kirk's is still my favorite of them!

They should have used the guy who played his brother "Sam" in "O: A"--he looked more like Shatner.

Exactly--he looked just like Shatner except older with a phony mustache.

Yeah, and I think the same guy played the Kirk android in "What Are Little Girls Made Of," and Mirror Kirk in "Mirror, Mirror." And they brought him back to play Martia impersonating Kirk in The Undiscovered Country. I think his name was Bill something?

And lastly he played the version of Kirk with Janet Lester's mind inside--he was pretty versatile--I can't figure why they didn't use him for Enemy Within other than they just hadn't known of him yet.

"Bill" as Sam was a horrible idea. It instantly screams 60s tv to me at that moment. (Unlike the rest of Trek, ha ha.)
