That would be awesome to bring back samples. We have to in fact. The hysteria about what if's need to be set aside and go forward for humanity.

I also think that a mission sending fertilized fish eggs to the Big E to see if they would mature is also necessary.

Large amount of feeder fish, predatory fish and species of fish that feed off of brine should be sent.

If there are fish like species in the oceans of Big E, then our feeder fish would feed off of their spawn and eggs, our predatory fish would feed off of our feeder fish and their fish as well.

The brine species of fish would feed off of any small brine like life found much the same way it does here on Earth.

Conquering the Universe one fish at a time.

Yes, introducing non-native species into a habitat has worked so well here on Earth.

Not really. The problem has been for the humans and the native environment, since nature as a whole doesn't have a measure for “good”. With no humans and no native organisms, there's nothing to go wrong.

Until the mutated space fish come back to avenge the harsh and cruel life we've forced upon them, and retake Earth. You know what they say—Enceladus is the hell for fish.

Actually I don't think he missed it at all. It looks like his "not really" comment was in reply to your intended sarcastic meaning considering the rest of the post.

I, for one, welcome our new mutated space fish overlords.

I would start off by delivering acantharians to Enceladus where they would then be feed on by larger creatures such as shrimp brine and other creatures that are then fed upon by larger fish and then humans.

Here is the reason why. These are the good reason for strontium sulfate which the shell of the acantharians is made of.

Do some research and see what types of microbial could sent to Big E that would provide humans with what they need.

This should be rather fun.

The chart should read Microbial - predator - predator - predator - predator - human where each predator would be a fish or other creature that would eat the microbial thus adding a mineral value supplement to the creatures diet.

I think Kirk (or Picard for you TNG fans) should object.

---------------

Until there comes a time when sentient life has been discovered on Enceladus where any involvement of populating the planets oceans with species of fish becomes apparent and is a detriment to the sentient life on Enceladus then any attempts to populate the planets oceans with aquatic species of life from Earth will cease until a delegation is formed to determine the outcome of the involvement. Until that time however populating Enceladus' oceans will go forward without any other discussion involving the Prime Directive.

Prime Directive? I was just talking about the "Big E".

I knew someone would miss the sarcasm in my post.

What would Livingston think about introducing fertilized fish eggs to the Enterprise-D?

He would probably think "Dinner time already?"

Didn't they have a Seaquest episode on Enceladus once? I could swear Mark Hamil was in it, but my Google Fu is weak today.
