Elizabeth Taylor RIP

How the hell is 79 “very elderly”? :wtf:
Well, just old, then.

Who could measure up today as far as real glamour is concerned?
And real talent as well. IMO, Ms. Taylor’s finest moment on film was when she played against type as Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

She had an amazing life. I suspect she passed with few, if any, regrets.

Rest in peace, Elizabeth.

QFT. Elizabeth Taylor would still be remembered and mourned just for being one of the most glamorous Hollywood stars of the 50s and 60s, but she was also an outstanding actress when she had the right material. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is one of my all-time favorite movies, and even after seeing it a dozen times, I always find something new to appreciate about the performances, especially hers and Richard Burton's.

She was an amazing woman who had an incredible life. Hopefully now she's up there with the men she loved the most. Dame Elizabeth, you will be missed.
