Elizabeth Taylor RIP

Indeed.

And my mum won't be saying "Oh no".

To this day she still HATES her for stealing Eddie Fisher from Debbie Reynolds!

Cleopatra...She will ever be. If Angelina is cast as her (preferably with Brad Pitt as Mark Antony), she will have great shoes to fill.

Oh no?

She was a very elderly woman in poor health who lived a full life.

Excuse me, can I have my own feelings and pay my respects without debate, please?

Yeah. And it's still an "oh no" when ANYONE dies. She was the last of the best of Hollywood. Glamor like hers doesn't come around any more. It's the end of an era, for sure.

Btw, mods, there's another thread out there. Could we please have the two merged? Thanks...

Good bye Elizabeth Taylor, your career and activism, will never be forgotten.

Though she had many health problems almost from the start, she still had a lot of fight in her.

A talent, an icon, a humanitarian and a lovely lady.

RIP

I remember her in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" as Maggie. Pure star power. The last of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Boo to whoever says we shouldn't mourn her passing simply because she was 79.

Who could measure up today as far as real glamour is concerned?
