Some points to consider re: The GOP platform

We don't really know what lies ahead.

You might be perfectly healthy today, doesn't mean you will be tomorrow.

We all get old, and as we do we tend to need more medical care, single-payer systems work on spreading the cost, so yes when you are young and health you likely don't need it but when you get older you'll likely need it. Which was kind of the point of the individual mandate of the PPACA.

Can you say with 100% certainity that you don't have a pre-existing condition, it just might not have flared up yet.

You might be rich today, but poor tomorow.


How does it impact on you if two people from the same gender matter?

How does it impact on you if someone has an abortion?

How can you be pro-life when it comes to forcing people to give birth yet for the Death Penalty? doesn't that kind of codradict the former?

Yes know doubt many of us would like to pay less tax, but the services we want from our Government be from local to national level cost money.

That's more Pence. I remember Trump looking askew in terms of the bathroom policies some enact. They forget it is the youth pastors who can really get children groomed--not someone transgender in a bathroom for a couple of minutes. I think Trump gets that. Bill Maher seems to think it is better to get Trump impeached and have Pence. Pence is the real Bible-thumper.

You had a mostly female audience there. (I watched it last week.)

I think Warren came across as more of real person--and it isn't just that folks didn't want strong female roles. Barbara Mikulski comes off both strong and genuine in a way that Hillary didn't to a lot of folks. That and a lot of kids just stayed home. They didn't vote.

Trump got rid of the Obama era protections, so he's just as bad as a possible Pence presidency. For what it's worth Bill Maher is pretty transphobic, so I really don't care about his opinion on anything.
 
He can get on your nerves at time. First Mars bashing--then superheroes. Imagination is about there is left to us..it seems.
 
I'm actually more upset he let Milo Fuckstickapopulis onto his show, fawned over him and agreed with him that trans women were confused sexual perverts. Fuck him and his awful show. He hasn't been relevant once this century.
