I'm waiting to see what Sony comes up with for their new readers before I decide if I want to upgrade or stick with what I have.
Has there been any news on what they are up to?
I would think the next piece of technology would be wireless and/or 3G since they'll need that to compete against Amazon & B&N in the upcoming holidays, unless they plan to stay out of the price war as they've previously suggested.
Rumor has it that the 6" model called the PRS-650 may have wifi and/or 3G. It will have a touch screen without a touch layer. It will have 2gig internal ram, a revised UI, will handle all the same formats, use the new Pearl screen, and have an attractive price. So if all this is true, I think it could be a winner.
