There is a new firmware for the Kobo reader that fixes a lot of the bugs.

I'm waiting for that, but unfortunately my new Kobo is already brokenscreen won't work anymore. Waiting on Kobo to send me the prefilled return box.
The good is odds are I'll get a replacement that already has the new firmware
The screen flickers a bit, the blue light at the top comes on but that's all. The left side seems to flicker a little longer than the right but there are not cracks or anything. I have no idea what's wrong with it. I just wish they'd repair/replace it already
The new Kindle looks pretty nice and I think this is a reasonable price. I might have to finally pull the trigger on one of these ebook readers. Now hopefully everybody can get their formatting in order...Just saw that the Amazon Kindle (a new wifi only version) is out and available for $139. I wonder if Barnes and Noble will drop theirs to compete.
To be honest, I'd wait and see what Sony & B&N do later this year. Because once you pull that trigger, you could find yourself wishing you waiting. The K3 will still be around if you don't like any new offerings from the others.

It's not going to matter how long you wait, there's always going to be something better around the corner. If there's one constant of electronic devices it's that they get better and cheaper.
If you think something is worth the money now and you feel you'll get use out of it, get it and enjoy it.
This is a publisher thing. Most of them are still intimidated by the concept of ebooks. Both Amazon and B&N have made inroads with certain publishers but unless you see at least a dozen or so sign up there probably wont be anything like that for a while.Oh on another note, you know how when you buy a Blue Ray nowadays you get the regular DVD and the digital edition as well? Anyone know of any book sellers that include ebooks copies with their printed ones? That would be fantastic
