I think that they are probably bad overall.

I don't like high heels for myself. They make my calves cramp up, and cut off circulation. As for earrings, all I've had are clip-ons.

High heels are bad for people. I don't wear them. Beauty should not hurt nor cause harm.

Ear Rings? Unless you are allergic to the metal or if you work in an area where the long dangly ones might be dangerous they should be safe.

There are high heeled shoes and boots for men...
They are probably a bit more comfortable then the womens shoes since the don't always end in a narrow point...
A couple of my male cousins had their ears pierced in the 80's * shrugs*...

I'm allergic to the cheap metals in earrings so I don't bother unless I want a feel pretty day, then I deal with mild irritated ears
