RPG set in post-apocalyptic Washington DC. First or Third person (whichever you prefer), robust character development system. Think beefed up "Oblivion" in a nuclear wasteland.

Well I know I'm probably in the minority of about 1 when I say this, but I didn't really dig Oblivion, therefore this might not be the type of game for me.

I did play "Mass Effect" some and I kind of liked that, but RPG is just really not my thing generally.

^PC and Playstation 3 games do not have region locks. I believe Australia is a PAL territory so Australians will also be able to import the Xbox 360 version of the game.

I'm starting to feel that way too. There seems to be nothing of worth coming out on the Wii, where you can't get a better version on the Xbox.

Seemed to me that the biggest part was just bragging, and then they announce 4 games we knew about ages ago. Wii Music, yeah, we've know about that for years. Rayman, yep announced months back. Star Wars Clone Wars, yep known about that for ages too. I think the only new thing was that snowboard thing wasn't it?

But useless if you're trying to play a game, and the other people in the room are on the phone, chatting away, or in no way interested in what you're doing.

I'm a big Nintendo fan, but I was disappointed with the lack of major game announcements at this conference. Wii Sports Resort and Wii Music look like fun, but they were hardly unexpected. For the hardcore gamers, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is about the only game they talked about.

Whatever happened to Disaster: Day of Crisis? Is it cancelled or in development limbo?

well, it's nintendo being nintendo... nothing i saw was impressive, but it will sell... wii sports 2 will do well, same with wii "music." though the "music" sounded really, really bad...

we go from GH4 announcing Metalica albums, to RB2 announcing AC/DC and GNR to Wii Music, with tunes straight out of Mrs. Johnson's 3rd grade music class.

and hey, another add-on... how many add-ons are there for that system? it seems like they introduce 2 a year (last year was the balanceboard and the zapper (or was it the wii wheel), this year it's the mic and the better control thing)... i wonder what new add-ons they'll come up with for next year.

They'll begin selling the Wii Fit board without the game soon. They announced a snowboarding game (not a silly thing with Mii's, either - it's called Shaun White Snowboarding) that uses the board. Activision are supposedly working on a Wii Spider-Man game that uses it too.
