DW Series 7 Returns!!...with "The Bells of St John"

Well, the last couple companions were from modern-day Leadworth. So they HAD to change it up for the next one, you know? Keep it fresh.

We do know Vastra, Jenny, and Strax are returning for another episode. Perhaps it is a follow-up to The Snowmen featuring Simeon somehow resurrected by the Great Intelligence?

Although, I agree, it's far more likely a mistake made by whoever wrote that.

Two episodes, the second to last & the last, if Clive Banks' cast info is correct.

Is one of those monsters The Trickster who we've so far only seen in Sarah Jane?

Quite liking what we've seen of the Ice Warrior. I was worried they'd do another extreme makeover like they did with the Silurians.

Is one of those monsters The Trickster who we've so far only seen in Sarah Jane?

Could be. Though we did see several of the creatures during the series preview.

Clara is from modern day London?

FUCK'S SAKE.

A radical thought for you here, but maybe the episode is just based in London and she is either visiting London for some reason, visiting friends or family or she works there and is from some other part of the country?

Amazingly, although very big, London isn't the be all and end all of England.

But she'll keep dying and be found in different eras with no recollections of being with the... She's a worse Doctor-Trap than Amelia.

Nah, I think she's done with the dying for awhile. They referred to this episode as her official introduction as the permanent companion (Well, obviously not permanent as in forever). But yea, very possible she's a plant that will figure into The Fields of Tenzalore",

Mitty, yea tha's what it looks like to me

Maybe it's a tie-in with Orphan Black

Huh, I hadn't thought about the fact that the premise seems a bit similar to Clara's multiple incarnation. (At least on the First Glance level though I suspect it's wildly different).

In any event, hooray Ice Warriors! It will be nice to see them again.

Episode 1? So is it Series 8 that starts at the end of the month then?

BBC Worldwide was telling people last summer that the Pond episodes were "Series 7" and the Clara episodes were "Series 8." Thus it came as a real surprise to me when the DVD of the Pond episodes came out labeled "Series 7 Part 1."

DWM uses an entirely different terminology now. The Pond episodes were "the 2012 series" and the Clara episodes are "the 2013 series."

Amazon still have the next run of episodes listed as Doctor Who - Series 7 Part 2

I've no doubt. I'm just amazed that there's not a single message of what's what. It's letting people run off in different directions and creating confusion. :)
