Dune 2018 (19,20,21...)

I'll wait for a Duncan Idaho figure, so I can finally sing my parody song "I'm Making My Own Duncan Idaho".

Here you go

the CoD miniseries didn't have Idaho with ghola silver/metal eyes. I'm hoping not mis-remembering

OK, I guessed it might have been him or the Baron since they seemed bigger than the regular figures.

Those aren't his arms, those are the arms for the build a figure Rabban. A lot of action individual actions figures these days come with body parts for another figure, and the only way to get all of the body parts to build the whole figure is the get all of the figures in that line.

Since i'm not a collector of such figures i was not aware of this but i'm familiar with this practice in principle from other parts of a hobby. I have played a game called X-Wing (Tabletop game where you control squadrons of Starfighters in the Star Wars universe and fight it out against an opponents' squadron), where the company included Upgrade cards that were highly sought after but only included in less used but expensive models ( the big Rebel Transport or the Tantive IV), some competitive gamers only bought these big models to get the cards and then sold of the entire rest.

For a player/collector it sucks but it is ingeniously capitalistic idea - i have to admit that if i were a CEO or marketing executive i would do the same.

Black widow has not been pushed to May 7 2021, so since there is no longer the threat of it being put against WW I wouldn't be surprised if Dunes move is also announced soon.

Oh I think it is a very smart idea, along with blind bags. I personally don't go for the scale that they are doing but that's due to being invested in another scale, and nothing against the concept.

Pretty much all the figures I have are from Dollar store

Funko did a build a figure thing for ghostbusters a few years back, you built the no ghost logo.

McFarlane Toys are now available in Canada on Amazon. I ordered mine.

You can get Star Wars figures there? O_o

I'm not a huge fan of star wars but yeah there have been a bunch I've seen. In my area some toy manufacturers use the Dollar store to clear out stock. I started buying them to decorate my home office and for my nieces and nephews to play with.

Then my marriage ended and now I've boxes full of them and nowhere to put them in my apartment .

Guess I know where I'm going after work.
