3D Realms went bankrupt and now Gearbox is developing it. Gearbox has actually released games since the Clinton administration, so I think we're safe.

The release date. No release date was given before because they'd just say When it's Done. They said in the past that people would know when it's done when they're finally given a release date.

Hell, it looks fine to me. I've had a triple dose of heroes who boo-hoo'd every time they had to mildly push somebody out of the way in the elevator, so this ought to be a refreshing change of pace

Irony may be all there is since for the life of me I can't imagine how this could possibly be any good, even if I really want it to be.

I thought the same thing. Welcome to America, the same could be said for this boards rules as well I suppose.

I have a feeling people will be a little disappointed by this because after all this time anything less than "fucking epic" will be perceived as a let down. Unreleased, DNF is the stuff of legend, once it's out we'll have to settle for it being just another game.
