The fact that they made new 2399 Starfleet phasers and phaser rifles for PIC (which we’ve yet to see in the show) gives me hope that we’ll actually see a 2399 Starfleet vessel too.

The pistols can be bearely seen being used by security in the flashback that shows the androids attacking Mars. Seven also used the phaser pistol to kill Icheb, and uses the rifles later in the same episode

They say it's the 33rd Century. I wonder if Michael Burnham makes it to 3187 but everyone else misses the mark and ends up in 3200-ish? It would give Burnham enough time to get caught up with everything and to make her wait seem long enough, when she's spending years doing whatever it is she's doing.

Pretty sure they've said she's only there for a year before Discovery arrives.

Either the plaque makers made a mistake, or they've decided to change how far into the future they actually jumped. Or maybe they just rounded up to the nearest century :P

It's probably a mistake or a change. Otherwise, they'd have to age Burnham up a little bit.

Oh, ok. Although I find it odd that they made brand-new phasers for such a short scene instead of just reusing the DSC phasers. It makes me think that they’ll be used again.

I've had the black/gold model for about 20 years as well as the same color straight Warbird.
