And don't talk about Bashir like that. Just because he was a drooling social idiot hitting on an emotionally dysfunctional patient and playing with Dabo girls doesn't mean he was less than Soval.

I can only speak from personal experience of which show sat better with me.

Enterprise was a better show than DS9 for me.
I just recently re-watched DS9 and I must say that despite the story arc and all, it's a bit too static and a bit of a bore (although still watchable).

Don't get me wrong, I like the prospect of story arcs in a show, but DS9 for some reason never really grabbed me in the same manner like Enterprise or Voyager.

Finally, I cannot say which show was globally better, because I don't think anyone is qualified to answer that since it's coming down to personal interpretation.
If I'd have to suggest Trek to someone, I'd rather tell them that they should watch all of it and make their up their own mind.
