DS9 official magazine

My brother was cleaning out our old room at our parents' house recently, and unearthed something I forgot I had -- the first eight issues of the DS9 magazine in near perfect condition. Not a stain, tear, or fold to be seen, and they're every bit as glossy as they were when they were brand new, I'd imagine. They'd be in perfect condition except for the fact that I removed the posters just to look at them once and then folded them back up and put them back in the magazine.

Now if I could just find my dad's Mr. Spock stein I could make me some real money on ebay.

Any folks old enough to remember this mag? I stopped collecting after the eighth issue. Some of the interviews were cool, but too much space was wasted with "synopses." I think there was even an all-synopses issue. Oh, boy!

Sure I remember these, and the TNG and Voyager ones. Being in the UK, these were not all that easy to get hold of and were considered very desirable (to me at least!)

Have to disagree on the episode synopsis - these were the main reasons I brought the mag; I loved them! I couldn't afford all the CIC Videos when I was young, so this was a good way to have a permanent record of every episode.

Was always very disappointed that the DS9 mag finished at issue #25(?) and never completed the synopsis for the season 7 eps. I know Trek popularity was on the wane, but come on Starlog, you couldn't last just a few more issues!?!?

Yes, in fact I have many buried in boxes downstairs. I should pull them out and have a look....

Do you have the first eight issues?

I have no use for them. I was going to donate them to a thrift store, but I'd hate to think they would be sold individually and ruined after they spent all these years in such good condition. I don't really want to sell them on ebay. On the other hand I don't want to post on here, "Anyone want these?" and get bombarded with hundreds of PMs. I'd like to get these to a rabid DS9 fan and collector who would take care of them.
