Game DS9 Episode Pitch Game

"Windows into the Soul" - DS9 is thrown into turmoil when a Bajoran ritual performed to seek a vision from the prophets goes awry. The incense used in the ritual accidentally gets into the station's air supply, giving some crew/residents the ability to read the minds of others. While Bashir investigates the medical effects of this substance, he and Miles try to use it to figure out what Keiko and Bashir's latest love interest are thinking. Quark elicits Odo's help to keep cheaters from cleaning him out at the card tables, and tries to use Jake, who's among the affected, to help him make a business deal.

“History Erased”: Keiko confronts Kai Winn when she is forbidden from teaching about Bajorans who betrayed their people during the war and Cardassians who worked with the Bajoran resistance against their own people. One of these Cardassians, Perosa Manel, had been invited to speak to the class about her role in the fight. Winn's animosity stems more from a personal difference of opinion between her and Manel than anything, which Kira uncovers when Keiko asks for her help. Meanwhile, a database update error has deleted some of the station's files, and Miles is busy working to fix the problem, another source of conflict for Keiko.

@no2catsuitKira Thanks! I think that goes for all of us.

“Counter-Productive”: Talks to increase Bajor's relations with the Federation are interrupted by the overtures of the Blidiar Incorporative, who counter the Federation's offers with snide remarks and unrealistic offers that seem too good to be true. The Incorporative seem to be unusually hostile to the Federation, despite never having been heard of before. Sisko asks Quark to do some discreet digging, which eventually uncovers the fact that they are a false front designed as part of an unsanctioned psy-op to manipulate things in the Federation's favor. Meanwhile, Bashir's quarters neighbors are feuding, which puts the poor (as a result) insomniac doctor squarely in the middle of their many arguments...unless O'Brien can figure out how to resolve their issues without the two of them taking opposite sides, too.

“The Great Rom” - Rom is confused by the looks he's been getting and things people have been saying to him, and can't figure it out until he finds out that Nog has embellished his father's life in a school essay, giving him all sorts of adventures and exploits. Torn between amusement and shame that his life isn't exciting enough, Rom and Nog get more than they bargained for when a Morgillian pirate kidnaps Leeta, believing she knows where Rom's "secret latinum horde" is. Meanwhile, a child hiding from an operation takes refuge in Odo's office, and after promising not to tell Bashir where she is, Odo tries to convince her to be brave.

"Catch A Falling Star"

Ezri finds herself giving psychiatric care to a prominent xenoarchiologist that has been spouting a conspiracy theory that lines up disturbingly well with Bajoran prophecy that they have never seen nor had any knowledge of. Are the Wormhole Aliens trying to steer the station's crew into a potentially hazardous direction or are they being given a chance to avert disaster? As this goes on Benjamin Sisko, at the insistence of Cassedy Yates, looking at plans for when the Dominion War ends. Plans that include farmland on Bajor home to recently unearthed strange artifacts.

"Cry Little Sister": In flashbacks, Kira remembers the life and death of a teenage girl she mentored in the resistance who feared that she'd die a coward. The memories are prompted by a mutual friend delivering the young woman's diary to her after it was found in a retrieved locker of Cardassian-seized goods from abandoned campsites. She tells the story to Odo and Jadzia while fasting in preparation for a Bajoran holiday.

"Til Death do You Do Party"
Worf is almost killed while on patrol with General Martok. As it turns out he has an unusual reaction to the medication they give to stabilize him and is almost a new person; cracking jokes, smiling, being in general happy. As Jadzia consults with Bashir on how to get the drugs out of Worf's system. Bashir must also help plan the birthday party for miles's son Yoshi.

"Through the Wormhole HE Cometh"
Through the wormhole comes an almost perfectly preserved ship dating to the romulan exodas from Vulcan. Aboard is a man claiming to be Surak. As Sisko must tightrope walk the political ramifications on whether this could actually be one of the most historically important men to Vulcan culture, or an impostor ... Quark sees profit and opportunity. He can tell at a glance 'Surak' is either a body double the romulans of the day created, or the whole thing is some elaborate piece of hokum. His motive is the ship itself and selling 'ancient vulcan artifacts dating back to the Sundering' for a hefty sum.

“The Last Survivor” - Sisko wakes up in the rubble of a non-Defiant shuttle crash, going in and out of consciousness, recalling his caring for the other passengers he does not know, who have all since died. This horrifying revelation is further disturbing because the dead keep coming back to life and dying again, speaking to him. In reality, he fell down a steep gorge while hiking and has been lying there, delirious, surrounded by extra-dimensional aliens who cannot breach the barrier to help him for longer than a few moments before losing their ability to and needing to rest.

Next step “Over and Over”
DS9 receives an extremely garbled transmission. After analysis, it turns out to be an overlay of numerous slightly different instances of essentially the same message, all sent by the ent-D, at the same instant in the time loop they were (are) caught in in Cause and Effect. DS9 sends help to prevent the time loop from forming, but now it turns out the USS Bozeman never disappeared 87 years ago, significantly altering history and relations in the DQ. DS9 now sends help to undo their previous action and let the time loop runs it course, but it turns out they can't restore the original loop- their 'undo' mission leaves effects of its own , which requires them to send a 2nd undo mission, which leaves effects of its own, and so on, leading to an infinite loop of missions to undo the residual effects of the previous mission. Who will find the proper 'exit condition' to escape from this 'undo' loop and restore the original one?

"In My Talons I Shape Clay" - DS9 is attacked by a massive space-dwelling avian that bears a striking resemblance to the great Bird of the galaxy, a mythological avian shared by multiple alien races and going by many alien names. The Bajoran counterpart is believed to be evil and must be slain, while Cardassian mythology claims it is a blessing and must be preserved. Sisko struggles to preserve his crew and station while trying to appease both sides.
